Give one client their own branded HighLevel, or a hand-picked few, while every other sub-account stays exactly as it is. One install, and all you need is the Location ID.
Can you customize just one sub-account in HighLevel?
Yes. HighLevel's custom CSS and JavaScript apply to the whole agency, but GHL Dashboard Builder can limit a design to the sub-accounts you choose. Add each sub-account's Location ID, install the code once, and only those sub-accounts get the new look. Other sub-accounts, the agency view and the login page stay plain HighLevel.

What you need
Three things, and only one is new
Everything else works exactly like an agency-wide install.
- Step 1
The sub-account's Location ID
The only extra thing you need. It's the part after /location/ in the address bar when you're inside that sub-account.
- Step 2
One install at agency level
Paste both parts of the code into Settings → Company → White Label → Custom CSS and Custom JS. The JavaScript is what switches the design on for that sub-account.
- Step 3
Your normal HighLevel app
Your team and client open the sub-account in your usual HighLevel app or white-label domain, the same as every day.
Location ID
How to find a sub-account's Location ID
It takes about ten seconds. You only need it once per sub-account.
- 1Open that sub-account in HighLevel.
- 2Look at the address bar. The Location ID is the part after /location/.
- 3Or open the sub-account's Settings → Business Profile and copy its Location ID.
- 4Paste it into the builder or your dashboard. Pasting the whole link is fine; the ID is picked out for you.

What stays plain HighLevel
The design only appears inside the sub-accounts on your list.
The login page
It's shared by your whole agency and nobody has picked a sub-account yet, so it stays HighLevel's own.
Your agency view
Agency dashboard, agency settings and everything outside a sub-account stay plain.
Every sub-account not on the list
Other clients see exactly the HighLevel they had before. Nothing about their account changes.

Single sub-account questions
Can I brand only one sub-account in HighLevel?
Yes. With GHL Dashboard Builder you choose "Only these sub-accounts" and add the sub-account's Location ID. You still install the code once at agency level; the design only appears inside the sub-accounts on your list, and every other sub-account stays plain HighLevel.
Where do I find a sub-account's Location ID?
Open the sub-account in HighLevel and look at the address bar. The ID is the part after /location/, for example …/v2/location/n3LQkhEfokxbrxga1Xl5/dashboard. It's also in the sub-account's Settings → Business Profile.
Can I add more sub-accounts later?
Yes. Add or remove sub-accounts in your dashboard at any time (up to 200 per design), then copy the updated code and paste it into HighLevel again.
Will my other clients notice anything?
No. Sub-accounts that aren't on the list, your agency view and the login page stay exactly as they were. The design's scripts don't run there at all.
What happens when someone switches between sub-accounts?
Moving between a listed sub-account and anywhere else reloads the page once, so the look switches cleanly. The design is removed at once when you leave a listed sub-account, so it never shows in the agency view.
Can different sub-accounts have different designs?
HighLevel's custom code is one install for the whole agency, so one design is shown in the sub-accounts you choose. Talk to us if you need a different look for different clients.
